How's the duty free
Is there a certain amount of electronics your allowed to bring in?
No egates is always a plus.
I did the VIP for both arrival and departure and it was worth every penny! They meet you with a sign with your name on it, then they take you outside and take you via golf cart to the customs lounge. That's where you pay for the service, then they walk you right past where they scan your bag, (they did not scan mine) and then walk you to your transportation. For departure, you get access to the lounges with a pool, showers, couches and free food! Worth it! Especially if you have never been to Punta Cana.
For sunscreen why don’t you pack a few 100 ml bottles in the carry on? Isn’t it allowed as per the liquids rule?
Well covered! For checked baggage, it is easy enough to find your luggage on the correct luggage carousel and there are usually baggage porters that will offer to load your luggage and take you to your bus shuttle for a fee which we pay as a tip.
