Secrets La Romana is IMO not represenative of the Secrets brand. It is one of the lowest rated Secrets hotels. Its ok but there are many better resorts in DR at this price point and certainly other Secrets properties that are better and better value for $. Secrets Royal Beach and Secrets Tides are about the same $ as La Romana but are better resorts with better ratings. I agree Secrets Cap Cana is one of, if not the best resort in DR and one of the highest rated all inclusives anywhere in the world. Some of the resorts in your list in the notes have changed names. For instance Hilton La Romana is now Secrets La Romana and Iberostar Grand Bavaro is now Joia Bavaro.
