Noooooo !!!! When you go to a restaurant and they have no prices on the menu. You leave that restaurant right away tell them no thank you.. It's a scam and that's how they get gringos. That happens a lot in boca chica. Not so much in sosua or puerto plata.

I just came back from Sosua last month. I brought $2600 for 6 days. I only spent $1300 of it. I stayed at Casa Valeria which has free breakfast which saved me some money. I did have a lot of fun with some pros but I would suggest the first couple days go crazy but then the last couple of days find you one or two that you enjoy and stick with them the remainder of the trip. There were so many women a lot of them started to look the same lmao! I had to start blocking a lot of the girls because they wouldn't leave me alone. But it was a great trip and I recommend any single man go.
They tried that with me in boca chica in the restaurant told me it was 80 on a 20 bill I told the manager I know the currency rate and they took the 20. You must have your currency app on your phone so they don't get u
