  1. Trevor and Anna, I can tell you why you feel so much better in the DR….light, natural sunlight!!! You don't realize how much less natural light there is in the Northeast USA (in my case) or Nova Scotia (in your case) as compared to the Caribbean. Enjoy!😊

  2. Hello Delightful Travelers! Love your videos! I live in the U.S. I have traveled around the world but, there is something special about the Dominican Rep. I have been there over 50 times over 20 years. I plan to retire there in two years. I love Thailand! but, the DR is closer to the U.S. and I have local friends there. I must return to Cabarete, I visited there once years ago! I love Santo Domingo, but enjoy visiting other parts of the island. Keep up with the videos, All the Best!

  3. Yes canada needs some improvements but in canada if it's emergency you need x-ray ,or cat scan, blood work with results they will accommodate you right away if it's not serious or can wait then won't be so quick

  4. So are the restraunts on the beach mostly tailored to tourists I was looking at restraunt menus I thought it was expensive I don't see the locals frequenting them I looked up wages in d.r. doesn't seem Dominicans are eating there except very special occasions what's your opinion I see like fish dishes $15- $20 cdn and like steaks $30–$35 cdn pastas around $10-$15 what's your opinion on that

  5. Hi guys! Thank you for the great tips! We are visiting Velero Sunset grill for lunch today 😊 can't wait! Can you tell me where is the frutera situated? I looked on Google maps and couldn't find it. I know it's on the main road but in what general area? Thanks 🙂

  6. 🙂💚👍Thank You Trevor & Anna Another Great Adventure as Always. Have You ever Thought about Going Parasailing in The DR it is Fun?????? I did it once when I was in the DR. had a Blast.🙂💙👍Wishing You Safe Travels wherever Your Adventures take you👍

  7. Btw, you can pay for a doctor’s consultation out of pocket (without insurance). It will be a bit more expensive than just paying the copay if you had insurance, but not a lot more.

  8. Great video – I am a US foot doctor and for your fracture recommend a “buddy splint” with a stretchy / self sticking wrap around the 4th and 5th toe for 3-4 weeks. The product is called coban or coflex. Re X-ray in 6 weeks to make sure it’s healed properly.

Great videos on the Dominican Republic! I started watching when you first started the DR series and have enjoyed the newer videos as well. Keep up the great work!

We are looking forward to visiting the DR !

  9. Do you guys eat out at or visit any of the inland restaurants and shops not on the main drag? Would love to see more of that area.

Also, love your theme music! Did you guys create that yourself?

Disfruten.

  12. It’s amazing how you’ve broken down life in Cabarete so well—beach life, affordability, and the sense of community all sound like a dream. Plus, those mangú breakfasts and fresh fruit look delicious 🍳🍌
