  1. We’ve been going to the DR for 30 years and have never had crappy food. Taxis to and from airport is usually $35, never paid more. The rest is pretty much right on.

  2. DR is a big rip-off. Why do I have to tip the workers. This is not America. DR is supposed to be an affordable travel destination. There are other countries that don't require tips, are safer, and more affordable than DR.

  3. I love the information. Thank you. I started a travel blog and you have similar key points that I focus on. I’m going for the first time in two weeks. So excited! 🎉

  4. I stayed there Jan 12 – 16th. Grounds are beautiful, staff service was inconsistent. Staff at check in/check out was outstanding, Room service staff was outstanding. Some of the bar staff were flat out rude as hell and condescending. Restaurants were horrendous. The only 2 restaurants we enjoyed were the Italian spot and this place called the Valley (good shrimp/chicken Ceasar salad). The other restaurants were extremely disappointing especially the Steak House 🤢. We both got sick, I checked the "unopened" bottles of water in the mini fridge and the tops were simply screwed on tight but they were not sealed. Seems they just refill bottles which is ridiculous

  5. I’ve been to cancun, playa del Carmen, cabo, and Punta Cana. So far Punta Cana was my favourite! I stayed at Lopesan and it was a dream.

  6. It's because of sincere informative people like you that I have lost my interest in traveling overseas, that it's not all the YouTubers make these countries out to be.. Especially for older people like myself seeking quiet relaxing experiences far from the cruise and resort crowds. Most tourist centers are simply geared toward young singles and 😢couples.

  7. Shout out to you I finally took my girlfriend to Riu!!! Don’t really like the resorts but for a girlfriend vibe it was clutch. All you can eat like literally.. I ate at 3 spots a night! White party and pink party was a movie

  8. Nobody wants to deal with drunks at a resort.
Hospitality industry discovered long ago weak drinks mean less problems, higher profits.
Hotel staff I’m sure are watering down bottles and reselling it. Why wouldn’t they?
Beer out of a capped bottle is legit. Everything else probably not.
This is not a Dominican thing. It’s an industry thing.

  9. Dominican Republic had alot to see. North Coast Puerto Plata – Cocoa & coffee plantations – Paradise Island- Mountain Villages. – La Romana Cote de Chevon- Santo Domingo – Saona- there is a lot to see

  10. I'm sorry. I've been watching a lot of your videos lately because we want to go to an all inclusive resort. We love your insights. But, I've only watched 18 seconds of your video and you look so tired. Is it a good sign? 😉

  11. There isn’t much to see in punta cana ?? wtf 😳 other then this nice video

Ppl move and rave about living there you need to know punta cana to realize this or spend time off resort. Nothing wrong with restart tho !!!

  12. Whats this guy talking about? Everything he says is "average" yet he claims his $300-400 per night hotels are a "better deal" than miami etc 😂😂😂

  13. I never ever ever feel like the all inclusive walls are coming in on me. Again we stay for 15 nights and I still never want to go home on the 15th day! There is literally nothing better than being at the swim up bar drinking all day and meeting such amazing people from all over the world then going up getting ready for a great 5 star dinner, drinks after, then a show…. paradise!

  14. I would never go on a vacation if it wasnt an all inclusive at the beach…ever! Why would you? We go for 2 weeks every year in January and we hit a different all inclusive resort all throughout the carribean.

  15. Great video as always. Have to disagree with you on the food. I have stayed at 3 star, 4 star, and 5 star resorts in punta cana all inclusives and the food has always been amazing. Remember these properties bring in some of the top chefs in the world. Why? Because food is such an important element for the consumer in the all inclusives. I am going to the 5 star iberostar coral upgrade bavaro suites in january 2025 for 15 nights and couldnt be more excited!!!!!! We always go for 15 nights to truly relax. Anything less you just can get truly relaxed!

  16. Hi, thank you very much for your advice! Have you ever been to Grand Palladium Palace resort and spa in Punta Cana? If yes, how do you find this experience? Thank you

  17. Lost me on #11 no place regardless of cost is trustworthy enough to leave your valuables out. You have just been lucky ..Eventually you are going to get burned.

  18. Just got back from Punta Cana, I also think it's one of the best values in the world as well. Even in June 2024 the dollar still goes a long way down there.
