  1. Don't forget that Europe doesn't have the USA tip policy.
You can be free to tip 10-20%, or tip 1-2$ per drink, is your money, we don't tip that much, no matter what.
We tip the service and the reaction. if a drink is coming after 5-6 minutes there will be no tip.

  2. When you check in, always ask for any check-in specials! They usually have pretty good deals, such as discount on spa items and other items throughout the resort.

  3. It’s awful to think your dollar is somehow great. Here in Mexico, the workers only get one day off per week. They can’t spend those dollars at their little local tienda. So you’re making them spend their only day off waiting in long lines at the bank. Pretty rude and inconsiderate. Get some local currency.

  4. Great list. Some others:
-Not having extra cash for additional fees (e.g. beach restoration/eco fees, etc)
-Thinking calling room service is included (outside of daily cleaning)
-Not bringing some local currency for things like gift shops or extra services, exchange rate can be brutal

  5. Tipping at an all inclusive is the dumbest thing ever and it's sad that these places don't pay their people enough to warrant it. It has gotten to the point where it is now expected and if you don't staff gets pissed off. People forget that tipping is supposed to be based on good service, I am not tipping someone for the sake of tipping someone, especially if service is bad.

  6. Thanks for your help on this. It helped me a lot. Just giving the information that we need from start to finish and skipping all the other BS. Thank you.

  7. Hi, I’m interested in nice calm, turquoise beaches, I loved the beaches of the resorts you stayed in. Can you please suggest good resorts with beautiful beaches. Appreciated

  8. And another common mistake I believe is drinking the tap water. I heard on the internet that tropical tap water will likely upset your stomach, which will likely ruin your vacation.

  9. High end all inclusive assigns a concierge for each suite. This concierge is responsible for providing information and services that’s available.

  10. A few years back they would offer a sort of orientation meeting at a preset location that gave very good information about the resort and the area, truly appreciated that, I think it was put on by the airline that you used, lt has been a while since it was offered. A number of resorts ago. They (the airline) have cut down on so much.. lf you take the time, and the staff have time they can fill you in on so very much. Thankyou for your video, and as you said "don't forget to tip" as generously as you can.

  11. strange been to several all inclusive resort and haven’t had many of the experiences you described, no alcohol or food limits no its not top shelf but still did the job and the food wasn’t to bad but the restaurants was always included I never paid extra for anything

  12. I personally would never stay at an all inclusive. Sounds cheesy, probably attracts a low class crowd, and the food/drinks will be sub par. Plus, you sort of feel trapped at the resort since youve overpaid for their bad packages.

  13. 1st mistake
    Going to an all inclusive.
    2nd mistake
Thinking it’ll be better if you do it again.
Eat at the same place daily seethe same people daily.
Amenities that are not included. Some that are are not worth doing.
All American or Canadian or French Canadian all around you. Employees that don’t want to be there that day teaching a newbie sup or whatever.
I go to my own choice hotel. Eat at different places. Ask locals they share the answers
Dominican is very annoying. People always asking you for whatever once off resort. Wow stress’s are not why we’re on holidays.
It’s very simple to look after yourself.
    Get your own hotel.
    Ask where to eat
Ask where people go to enjoy
Everyone is helpful to share knowledge of their country and proud of it. Street foods are so good and cheap.
Colombia Equador Chile beautiful countries with beautiful people.
Not a stupid resort full of judgemental fools getting drunk or whining it’s not the same as home.
    Tipping ????
lol pay all that money fir all inclusive ?
Stay in your own and spend less and still tip.
Empanadas on the street in Colombia are .35cts can. A dinner for two at a restaraunt is $25 can. Just talk to people and learn and enjoy.
You’ll be amazed how much fun the memories will be the wonderful people you’ll meet. Remembering struggling with some new language words. But the smiles from your guest countrymen are worth it.
Day trips at your leisure with the help of local information.
I went to a nature park in Colombia. They were closed. But ! The man in charge said , you came all this way to see the park and monkeys so let’s go ! 1.5 hr guided tour on the trails and yes I got to see the monkeys ❤️

  14. As a Canadian,"Do they take Our money for tips"??? WE have a 1 & 2 dollar coin, than a 5-10-20 dollar bills. I know most places do take the U S Dollars for most payments. I was down into Punta Cana about 10–12 yrs ago.
