Back home in Dominican Republic 🇩🇴 🥰 – Walk of Fame – Santo Domingo Airport ✈️😅

Story time 🍿🔥😅: This is how you catwalk 🚶🏿‍♀️ on the fashion / modeling runway of Santo Domingo Airport, Dominican Republic 🇩🇴. I’m “pro” at this now, but the first time I came to Domingo Republic via Santo Domingo, Airport 🛫, I wasn’t ready for this moment… It caught me off guard and, by surprise. I had traveled to many countries before, and I had never seen anything like this. There were so many people in that area all looking at the runway, waiting to welcome their family and friends. To make matters worse, it was so busy and overcrowded at the airport my first time… I really wasn’t ready for this moment, nor was I warned about it…. I felt TOO SEEN… I felt like all eyes were on me, and I didn’t know what to do. I got so shy, and I’m not even a shy person… Mind you, I didn’t know anybody personally here at the time. I was on solo travel, doing global health work in Dominican Republic 🇩🇴 and Haiti 🇭🇹.

This felt like my longest walk at any airport… I didn’t know how to escape this runway. I was thrown on the spot to model for the audience… So I worked up every confidence I had left in me and put my best foot forward, held my head up high, nervously smiles, and just walked…. I was so relieved when I got to the end of the runway… Sigh…. Airlines should warn newcomers about this walk… Like, please brace yourself for the Santo Domingo Airport walk of shame… I mean, walk of fame… 😅😂. Anyway, I hope this video prepares future newcomers. There are usually more people, depending on your arrival. If you don’t want too many eyes on you… Wait a longer time to come out… By then, most people would have left, and you won’t be put on the spot so much…. You are welcome 😊🚶🏿‍♀️😅🇩🇴🥰✈️
