The main language in Dominican Republic is Spanish. Few people actually speaks English fluently. You will need Google translate for easily travel if you don’t know the language but it helps to learn a few words. All sites of attraction are close and easily accessible.

I was just there and the Politour (tourists police) is something almost nobody talks about but they are very attentive and can make the experience much better.
