  9. We loved our stay at Secrets Cap Cana. We had a tropical view swim out and used it every day. The food was excellent, service was very good, and the rooms were very nice as well. So far…out of numerous trips to Punta Cana…this is at the top of our list. Hyatt Zilara is on our shortvlist of resorts we still want to visit.

  11. We stayed at Sanctuary Cap Cana in Nov 24 and experienced the exact same thing with lukewarm at best food on the buffets. Is this a common thing in DR? Service was also less than stellar there too. Had been thinking about trying this one out after just staying at a fabulous Secrets in Playa Blanca.

  13. I've only ever been to one all-inclusive resort, forever ago, and it was in Punta Cana. I don't remember what it was called – my parents dragged me to it just as I was entering my Backpacker Era – but we only ever ate at the buffet, and the buffet was huge but it had just a teeny tiny Dominican section off in the corner. That section had some of the best food I'd ever eaten. It's great to see that Secrets is offering so much local food, because I still think about those black beans and goat curries to this day.

  22. Sorely tempted to nick down there before moving back to Australia in August. Longing for another glimpse of those incredible, literally, skies. Beautifully captured in the video. Having had food poisoning in London recently found the food temp issues at the breakfast buffet rather worrying, especially in the climate
