People always ask me how I manage to solo travel. The truth is I never imagined myself traveling solo to an all inclusive hotel. All inclusive, you imagine people sitting on sunbeds and drinking. It’s not my thing. I used to solo travel to New York and Los Angeles.
I went a family holiday to Bahia Principe Fantasia in Tenerife. My favourite thing about the hotel, was the food. I discovered there was a Bahia Principe Fantasia in Punta Cana ( Dominican Republic ). No one was free to go, so I went on my own. I planned to go as a one of to see the place and walk around. I have now been 4 times.
I traveled with British Airways Glasgow to Gatwick London. Then London to Punta Cana.
I think it helps traveling solo to Bahia Principe Fantasia, as I know alot of the staff and stay in contact.
One culture difference that takes getting used to is British men don’t really hug. I accidentally hand shake the whistling man, when he had his arms out oops haha
When I arrived I had to get my favourite drink – banana mama
I went to the Dominican restaurant in Bahia Principe Esmeralda Hotel.
Sorry if I look tired or not as happy in these videos. I have been stuck living in a hotel since Scotland had a bad storm in January. It’s getting hard living in a hotel ( I don’t sleep well in hotels ) . Hopefully next time I’ll have my own bed back.
