  1. We went to Riu Republica and it was a nightmare. We spent $1200 in upgrades didn't receive any. We spent over $5600 for this week and we couldn't wait to leave. We traveled last April. 😢

  2. I watched several of your videos before I traveled to Punta Cana just last month. We stayed at Secrets Royal Beach Punta Cana. Thank you for providing such helpful info!

  3. Great info as always. Even for those who have been there before its a great refresher/update! I will say I find PC airport much more pleasant to navigate than Cancun. I would add for those who haven't been to PC that in general the further north you go up the coast (ie further from the airport) the rougher the water and the darker/more course the sand gets. The Cap Cana and Bavaro areas are IMO much nicer for beaches. I haven't been to Miches yet either so can't comment although from videos I've seen the beach looks lovely there. Cap Cana resorts are pricier but for the most part you get what you pay for. Also Cap Cana is a private beach so less crowded and more peaceful. Bavaro beach is nice and wide, great for walking and there are shops/restaurants that you can walk to. I would caution newcomers that there can be confusion between Bavaro beach and the Bavaro region. Hotels that are not on Bavaro beach sometimes claim to be simply because they are located in the Bavaro region. Some refer to the whole Punta Cana stretch of beach as Bavaro Beach. Bavaro Beach is a particular section of the beach between Cabeza Del Toro and Arena Gorda. This is a good reference for the different beach areas and the hotels on them https://puntacanadominicanrepublic.com/punta-cana-beaches-map/
