Dominican Republic Semana Santa. WARNING! This is Crazy 😳 2024 Easter in Cabarete Puerto Plata

Everyone warned us that Semana Santa (Holy Week or Easter week) in the Dominican Republic is absolutely crazy, packed with people and is totally chaotic. This is our first time experiencing it for ourselves so we headed out in Cabarete, Puerto Plata to experience it for ourselves.

In this video we’re heading out in Cabarete Beach and the town during Good Friday and again on the Saturday (supposedly the busiest day of the weekend) to see just want it’s like. We walk along the beach and see many people, police, lifeguards and military (including a helicopter).
