We visited this superb headland to look for seabirds and were not disappointed. We had a steady stream of Brown Pelicans passing offshore, most were quite distant but the odd one came a little closer. They are a regular species offshore in Hispaniola and breed locally.
This image was taken on the 9th March 2018. This is the nominate race occidentalis in the West Indies.
