I’m Joe, quite new to YouTube but really excited to be a part of this community. I live small and sustainably in my home on wheels (lovely van called Freyja) and from time to time out of my backpack (I have not named the backpack yet). On this channel, I bring you along on my travel journeys off the beaten track where I try to show you the beauty of untouched nature and wander into places where most tourists don’t dare to go.

The Dominican Republic sounds wonderful and looks beautiful 😍 🏝️ Never been there, but will put it on my list, I have a coal to visit many islands 🏝️ I especially love being on islands, I live on an island myself, Tenerife and I love it ❤ I’ve been to Cozumel many times when I worked on a cruise ship in Caribbean in the mid 80’s, starting as a deck boy as a 17 years old. Then I also went to Grand Cayman, and a couple of islands in the Bahamas 🇧🇸 But this was more than 37 years ago, so time to go back to the Caribbean ❤😂

  10. You need to check out picó Duarte. It’s the highest point in the entire Caribbean and a great place to hike. Also you’ll think you are somewhere else instead of an island in the Caribbean because the temperature drops and they get snow flurries . Second place to visit is the the Dunes of. Bani . There is also the climate is like a dessert with very dry climate weather .
