There are cable cars in the capital Santo Domingo and Santiago too. The one in SD connects to the metro system and the Santiago one will connect to a monorail system.
A tropical island is always a great place to explore, right? Each of course has its unique qualities. I like how, as you said, the farms in DR are small and sustainable. That organic chocolate factory is interesting. And— wow!— you brought in a celebrity to fix up your Starlink. 🙂
