How much did the custom hat cost?
You guys rock Ecuador is on our list because of you
Those hats look super fine. You folks seem nice. Thanks for the video!
Thank you! That's a pretty school building!
I got one of Modesto's hats for Christmas. I love it. The quality is very good.
Really enjoyed watching JP's hat being made, quite interesting, also liked when he showed how to tell a quality hat. Modesto Mero is quite skilled! Weird that just because they were purchased in Panama they became Panama hats, regardless of where they were made.
Que divertido ver a una Estadounidense hablar en español pero con modismos ecuatorianos jeje les queda como anillo al dedo esos sombreros, perfectos son como un lujo para la gente extranjera, hechos con cariño por mis compatriotas ecuatorianos.
I loved the Amelia's "bancansísimo" comment.
Ja ja ja ja ja ja ja ja ja ja ja bacansisimo.. It looks divine on you.. Amelia..congrats both of you… Gracias por mostrar nuestro país al mundo.. The true panamá hat are Ecuadorian.. That's is the point.. A hug.. 😜👌
Are there expats or digital nomads there?

Thank you for making these wonderful videos. As soon as I can help, I would like to contribute something to your Patreon…and be a member. I am a vegan seeking a new life with a base (I hope) for traveling in Ecuador. Ojalah!
I always knew you were Gangster J.P.

Hi–loved the video and the hats and the music. Can you give me the name of the music at the beginning of the video?
You looks Amish with the hats …
Thanks for the tour! BTW is that Amelia I saw on the Caribu commercial? If not , you have a twin. 😎
Que hermosos sombreros. 100% Ecuatorianos.
Those hats are really classy and beautiful! Great choice 🙌🏽
One of the best videos you've made. Very close to my heart.
El sombrero de paja Toquilla, (Panama hat) is a very curious thing. The thinner the fiber the more expensive but beautiful they are. They are made in Montecristi but also on Cuenca. There is also the "Centro de formación artesanal de Pile" in the town of Pile where they teach people about the hats and how they make them.
Very beautiful beach! You folks are great sales people for Ecuador . Thank you for all the info to date. Very helpful for my research.
Not sure if you know this guys, it is not information from the video but sometimes money is called "plata" here in Ecuador. Great video and beautiful hats!
Beautiful hats. What did they cost?
Thanks for sharing guys! We have a friend in Montecristi who made me a hat. I love to see the content that is informational or educational in some way. We are trying to do something similar here in Loja. But as you know shooting and editing videos is a lot of work! At any rate, keep up the good work. Thanks, Wayne.
MEET SANTA ANA , MANABI POZA HONDA!
Curious, what does your driver Juan do when are walking around? Do you pay for the day? Why do you prefer hin over taking a bus out to Montecristi?
