First Impressions of Puerto Plata (Dominican Republic’s Cruise City) 🇩🇴

We are in Puerto Plata Dominican Republic’s popular cruise port. We spend the day exploring Puerto Plata, visiting all the famous spots in the city, such as the colonial zone, umbrella street, pink street and more. We also try some traditional Dominican food and it was delicious. No visit to Puerto Plata would be complete without a trip to the beach. We end our evening with beachfront cocktails toasting the perfect day in Puerto Plata. If your on a Cruise, then you will definitely like this itinerary for your cruise stop in Puerto Plata.

  1. They make the MANGU (mashed Plantains) SO MESSY NOW!!! Restaurants went DOWN in the DR; they get a lot of praise from People Who don't know better, So they slacked and went down in Presentation, Hygiene, and Decor, plus the quality of those Dishes is NOT the SAME as in the 1980s! What a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT!!! Just like here in the USA; they just CHARGE MORE MONEY; but went DOWN in Quality and Service!!!

  2. It is sad that the cable car is closed as the experience was fantastically beautiful. You tho can still go to top on Mountain Isabelle by bus from back! Unfortunately there is no plan to reopen cable cars at this time from what I’ve heard

  3. Hello, I liked Mangu so much in the Dominican Republic, that I even went home and did it myself and it came out very good. I followed a youtube recipe and did it very well.

  4. I saw you was at la cariuela and Mr Tonight, lol. I love that place. It was the first place my friend took us to and it was amazing. Had my first el presidente sitting right there looking at the ocean. Awesome. Me.and my wife are moving there in sosua-caberete area when I retire in October. The DR is amazing 👍🏿
