  1. so You Guys are Moving around more. Yes You Need to check out CostAmbar right up the New Carretera on your way to Cofresi'. CostAmbar is great , Coral reefs, Golf Course, and a mix between ExPat types and Locals who get bus loaded in on Weekends. Great Mix. Also a few great cabinas , with full amenities-kitchen, pool at $50 a night. I may invest here.

  2. Sosua hospital charged me 350 per day. Nurses work on their hair and nails. While you suffer. They don't care. These were expensive rooms in hospital. The other option to be thrown in with the locals, and I'd rather pay the 350$. My insurance reimbursed. But these hospitals don't take American insurance

  3. First time booking flights in to the Dominican, my husband and I like to go the Airbnb route. We booked flights into Punta Plata airport. We are looking for walkable restaurants, beaches, shop and grocery stores close to Airbnb. Not much into the party scene. Looking for safe and quiet. What town would you suggest to stay for the week. Puerto Plata, Cabarete or Sosúa? Thanks

  4. Cabarete wins for me. My 3 "W"s are: Warm, Walkable, and Water. I stayed in Sosúa for a month and a half a few years back and it was a great experience. I stayed in Casa Linda. My only issue was that right outside of Casa Linda, it wasn't very walkable. It would've been nice to have some sidewalks in the community and on the outside that connects to the beach. This may be in the works, but right now it appears that Cabarete is more developed in this area. Great overview! Thank you.

  5. Great info, thank you. We are from Canada also and We are going to Las Terenass for a month next winter. I have one question, you mentioned water outages. Can you drink the water there or should we buy bottled water?

  6. Buying a property in Cabarete because it has more to offer but to be honest I dont like the beaches there. I LOVEEEEEE the beaches in Las Terrenas, the color of the water, the sand, how calm it is. I can go in the water with my floating and just relax for 1hr while having a drink on my hand. In Cabarete's beaches you have to wrestle with the waves to get in and out.

  7. Guys, I’m back watching the DR series taking notes 😂. I’m going to attempt to use my southwest companion before it ends at the end of the month. DR crash course. Do you guys know of any care rental service that allows you to pick up in one location and drop off in another? You guys make it hard to skip Cabarete, Las Terrenas, or Punta Cana….

  8. So here is a question, something that’s important to me! Everyone is different, but when I travel, I don’t want to eat European or American food etc, I want the Local foods 100%. So in this case Caribbean foods! I was just in South Africa and it was so much of the foods we have in London where I live. How are your 2 locations in terms of local Caribbean foods in the restaurants?

  9. Such a great video! Very informative. You can't find this " meat and potatoes" information anywhere and it's what I was looking for! Happy travels!❤

  10. I see I never got a reply to my question below. But now I'll ask a couple of different questions. What is the temperature like Real Feel throughout the year?? Is it like Miami, constantly humid even in the winter? Second, how do you compare these towns with Punta Cana weatherwise??

  11. Please go back to DR 🎉did you guys know that DR has millions of rivers , amazing restaurants, caves , beaches it has it all why would you guys go so far Asia? I want to go to Asia but too expensive tooooo far
