  1. I’ve got family in Bonao and we always go to El Camellón on Rio Yuna. Saltos de Jima are beautiful as well, but I recommend closed toe shoes for that hike.

  2. Enjoy DR, WE THE DOMINICANS HAVE A WRONG BELEVE ABOUT THAT WE NEED ALOT MILLIONS IN ORDER TO ENJOY HEATTHY OUR COUNTRY ,BUT REALLY PEOPLE ONLY NEEDS IS ENJOY THE ISLAND AND THATS IT.

  3. Jay, you need to have someone take you to beautiful rivers in Barahona, San Cristobal, Moca, and Salcedo. Here are a few:

    Barahona: Balneario La Plaza
    San Cristóbal: Los Cacaos
    Salcedo: Río Partido
    Moca: Cola de Pato

    You won’t regret it!!

  4. Wow ❤❤❤ I am crazy with our rivers. Bañarse en un río is the absolute best!! Especially not too deep and I prefer to see the water flowing. But careful Jay. Rivers are tricky. They must be respected as much as the ocean.
