  1. If you think this hotel is good, you guys have not been to a quality resort in PC, just got back from a 10 nights stay and except how beautiful the hotels is, everything including the beach is the worse I have experienced in PC in the last 11 years

  2. 6/25 just got back from 10 days stay in Lopesan Costa Bávaro, the food and services was among the worse I’ve experienced in my 11 years traveling to punta cana. The gold fish restaurant by the beach has the worse food in punta cana, flies feasting over the food, the food seamed 3 days old. I stayed 10 nights, not just a couple days like this guys did. ONLY 50’ of beach was crowded with boats and the smell of burn fuel 100% of our stay. There was close to 30 or more boats at all times blocking the view. Worse in punta cana. I referenced to this review and booked. Biggest mistake, there many other resorts. You can find my 3 star review in TripAdvisor if you want to read more. Do not go to this resort.

  5. This is one of the worst hotels we have ever visited… super DISORGANIZED and the food was UNSAFE to eat!!! I deeply regret watching this video which is completely sponsored most likely by this hotel or this guy lives in a fantasy world!

    We had to pack our bags after day 1 and leave to another hotel… please please for the love of God… do not trust this video because this hotel turned out to be hands down the absolute worst we have ever stayed in!

  7. Well, I loved the beach, kids waterpark,bed and pillow. If you are not a Unique member… the food is pretty standard. Not much selection. Not much seafood at buffet. I will not be visiting Lopesan again. I would much rather spend my money at Majestic Mirage with two huge rooms, 2 bathroom… lobster and a buffet of seafood. I rate Lopesan a 3 to say the least.

The Property itself is absolutely amazing, it has all the amenities you want in a resort, like your review says, the amenities are first class but that's as far as i would go.. the food is terrible, almost atrocious. The beach was a parking lot of boats, once in the water you can smell the boat fumes, sad. The boats take away from the view and they never cleaned the seaweed the whole time we were there. The potential is huge for this resort, improve the food, clean the seaweed and remove the boats and I'd recommend this place.
    Just an FYI for people, there is no pool bar at this resort and the service is not good at the main pool, you always have to for a walk to get a drink and the bars are not close.

  13. My boyfriend took me here a few years back and we loved it ! Food was great and bc my bf is Dominican he got some good discounts on scuba diving and other excursions lol the prices did go up since then and the beach wasn’t my favorite too much seaweed but resort was great !

  23. I can’t wait to go here. I’m going April 18th 2025 I’ve only booked 7 nights but maybe I should have done the 10 nights. I’ve only travelled abroad twice and both times were to Turkey. I’m going here for a wedding. I’m about to watch the video. I hope it’s everything & more that I’m dreaming of 🙏🏻

  26. Hi James! I wanted to thank you for your great videos. They're so detailed, informative, and objective (imo). In preparation for my first trip to Punta Cana, I watched many videos but yours was the most influential in my decision making. After seeing the other video where you rated the top 20 resorts, I chose Lopesan and it is exactly as you reported here. The property is beautiful and spacious. The staff are courteous, professional, and just wonderful. I opted for a swim up room and the Unique Club which lived up to my expectations. Overall, Lopesan was AMAZING!

    The only thing I will note is that it was not as quiet as I had hoped. I went during the last week of November so maybe my timing wasn't right. You are too influential!!! LOL It appears that too many people saw your videos and decided to go there too. That said, I would love to try Finest or Live Aqua next time for that truly quiet and "isolationist" experience that you described at Finest😆. Thanks again for such great reviews and insights!

  29. ive watched a lot of videos prepping for out next vacation. And what sets your videos above and beyond everyone else's is showing the resorts when they are actually populated.Most videos are taken early morning and no one is there, making the resorts seem unpopular and boring.Your videos are great and I hope your able to keep em coming.
