We’re in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, the capital city. Today we’re exploring the city.

Throughout the video we make our way around the city. We start at the Botanical Gardens (Jardín Botánico Nacional Dr. Rafael María Moscoso). We then had to Piantini to have an amazing lunch at La Dolcerie ( Our AirBNB rental was right around the corner, so we do a tour of our building and the apartment rental.
Stay in this apartment:

Lastly we head over to the Colonial Zone (Zona Colonial) where we walk around, visit the main square and then head over to a brewery called Callejero Tap Room.

  1. Yes, you can go to the Botanical Garden and exercise, they have a plan of membership for the people that go to walk, run or some yoga. Other people go around the garden from the outside. It is huge.

  2. Yeah, I found that Santo Domingo City is just an amazing to visit during your stay in the DR. I like Zona Colonial and love the train system and cable cars. Anna your sunglasses look spectacular on you matching your blue dress.

  3. @turismoRD we need you to sponsor T&A… they are bringing our country and culture to a huge amount of plp… they are doing an amazing job.. I live abroad, but I pay my taxes in DR and I want my money to go to them….😂😂😂guys thank you so much.

  4. I was just in Santo Domingo & I could not believe how dirty & how much garbage I saw, especially on my way from SDQ to Piantini, to be frank it's embarrassing to think dignitaries from all over the Americas land in, el Auropuerto Internacional de las Américas, just to see the first Capitol of the New World falling apart, to be fair the last time I was in Santo Domingo as a child it was much worse, but sooooo many have told me how much things have changed but I expected much better, SDQ was also in dire need of repairs, Puerto Plata, Samaná & Punta Cana were Clean & Beautiful, Santiago especially the center of the city was crumbling. I ❤ DR & it pains me the Leadership is not doing better for the people, although Salaries are climbing up.
I intend on retiring or at least spend winters in Beautiful, Breathtaking Samaná, btw I also like Cabarete.

  5. Very nice. That park blow my mind though. Who would have thought this exist in Santo Domingo. The DR is filled with so much surprises. Love the video as usual.

  6. One question, do you live completely in the DR? If so, would you return to live in Canada? Could they adapt to Canadian life again after truly living free? I ask you because I live in the US and life here is very similar to Canada. thank you

  7. Santo Domingo looks great, as you hear people say that ohh it's a third world country, the truth is what I see in this video is the same as any rich country. In fact I see it more libido because of the clina, vegetation, happy atmosphere. He clearly has a better life. better mental health. less stress. more relaxed, less problems, less boring, more places to have fun, that's where I feel like you can spend a happy day just by being outdoors. I would love to move to that country. to be able to live life
