Join us as we ensure snorkeling at Sosua bay in the Dominican Republic. We set sail on the Valiant Lady on Virgin Voyages. We took a bus to Sosua bay from the port which ended up being around 45 mins on way to get to the beach. From there we set sail on a catamaran boat and visited two different snorkeling sites. Site A and B both had coral reefs but site B we had to swim around the coral reef to avoid injuries! This excursion was a 10/10 for me and I definitely recommend you book this with virgin if you visit the D.R. If you go through carnival, there D.R port is Amber cove which I’ve also heard great things about.
