Some movie fans were thrilled to spot Keanu Reeves strolling through a mall in the Dominican Republic, where he was filming his new sci-fi movie Shiver.
Santo Domingo resident Emigk Madera filmed the moment the actor walked past him, smiling and giving a peace sign.
“We saw him walk past us several times, but we decided to leave him alone and respect his space,” Madera wrote on Instagram.
“And what a surprise! It seemed he realized we were respecting him and gave us a sign of peace and love,” he said.
He continued: “I’ve always said it, and I’ll keep saying it: the most respectful and humble movie actor on the planet, Mr Keanu Reeves.”
