This is about ridding Sosua of the crooks, beggars, drug peddlers and pimps who are not from the area, who come into town on a regular basis for the sole purpose of engaging in criminal activities. If you've ever spent time on the strip, you know exactly who I'm talking about. Prostitution isn't going anywhere however it will become more discrete as many of the local residents have grown tired of dealing with the drama and the authorities have grown tired of dealing with the complaints. DO NOT cancel your next trip down to Sosua over these crackdowns.

4. Sosua has been a hoe-town for a long time. I remember in 1985 going with my family and back then it was the Europeans now Americans. The biggest difference is that all the dirty deeds was not posted online like before. There was no social media. Eventually I think sosua is taking the route of times square , where they are trying to clean it up.
