  5. Gentlemen, Spanish "ain't rocket science". If somebody wants to learn they will pick up books (yeah that's right I said it) and study youtube language tutorials as well as Google translate. I learned one book backwards and forwards and some of the locals swore I was fluent, which I am not, just learned enough to get by. (The book is called "Let's Talk Spanish", almost like a big pamphlet and it taught me stuff that I still remember years later even after not reading it for years

  22. Just got back to Dallas from Santo Domingo . Women to men ratio is like 5 to 1 . I’m married . My wife’s home is there . She was so happy to be back . We stayed 25 days . Food is cheap . I enjoyed those 6 dollar haircuts . Tipping very well . We were there when the beudas walked the streets . Crazy new year for 2026 . Definitely going back soon 🙂 real soon .
