Hi Jay, thanks for your recommendation ๐Iโm go to Santo Domingo for long weekend this month and Iโm going just me. I need to run from the cold ๐ฅถ weather
Just sent this vid to my GF who's visiting there and said they were going to Applebee's ๐คฎ instead of trying some good food.
Thanks
I love Lincoln Road.

This is very interesting because out of all of the restaurants I went to, I felt like El Conuco was the worst one. Perhaps it was just a bad night. We arrived fairly late; they were closing soon, and I ordered the Red Snapper โit just wasn't that great. I'll have to go earlier in the day perhaps and choose something else.
Whats your instagram Jay?
Youโre making me hungry Jay. You best believe I will be in Santo Domingo next year for sure๐๐๐
Uncle Jay!! I need you to go a few blocks away from El Lenazo, and check out a place called Viilar Hermanos! It is another authentic criollo food place that has outdoor seating with a sound stage, an indoor takeout food by the pound section, and an indoor restaurant where you order off the menu, its own bakery, and a water distillery center where they sell a Dominican Republic brand of water that could possibly be the best tasting water in the island. Did I say the place is in Gazcue? The place is vet affordable and it is usually filled with the government workforce, and the beer distillery workers and many other locals from the area. Check it out.
Mofongo de Adrian tropical en el malecon ๐
On my next visit will definitely try some of these. I agree with you that they know how to season their food, give them 2 thumbs up. Canโt remember the names of the restaurants I visited but I can say I really enjoyed the meals. Thanks for giving us insight/ info on your favorite spots.
Most interesting. I am just back from the Dominican Republic and loved it. I was supposed to go to Miami but as a Canadian I sure join the WORLDWIDE BOYCOTT of the United States. Never for me again. The Dominican Republic: friendly people. English widely spoken. Canadian $ accepted almost everywhere. Luscious vegetation.
Watching from CHI-TOWN CHICAGO, USA! THANKS UNCLE JAY!
Great video good information keep up the good work ๐ฏ๐ฏ
Number 5 is our next stop next year . Have you tried El Mesรณn de la Cava . A bit more upscale from the ones you went to but it was fantastic. Food was good , service was great as well

I have been following you for years love it all you messed up when you said good customer service in one of these restaurants is that true?
Definitely going to keep all of these spots in mind when I break from the north to visit the south.
I have been to the Adrian Tropical in Piantini. As always delicious Dominican food.
