  25. I’m sorry but this is great but no one says that we are a hot spot for those things solely… if we were we wouldn’t get 10 million visitors a years. The only people who think that are ignorant white people who believe that about every single country that is not in Europe or the US

  29. I'm biracial. Half Northern European and half west-African. Many Dominicans look very similar to myself snd the only group/community of people that do not other/exclude me like "monoracial" black and white people do who are obsessed with their false "racial purity" (race is a social construct). Dominicans just speak to me in full on Dominican Spanish all the time. I notic many black Americans tey to force their perspective of race onto Dominicans. Leave them alone on this.

  41. The way the history was explained between Haiti and the DR was done very poorly, it makes Haiti look really bad when they were the victims of colonial rulers
