  9. i was in DR in march 2025. disappointed with the place. S domingo is a run down gansta type shanty town. bad roads, deadly driving, language barriers, polluted rivers with garbage floating, garbage in the streets and traffic like new york. i dont recommend anyone to go there. the food is nasty too. dominicans dont clean their meat properly

  12. Was there in the past. Loved the beach and camped out overnight. There is something tourist miss during the trip….

    If you stay overnight and the skies are clear, you will see the actually Milkyway.

    I was mesmerized and cried when seeing the skies that night. Something out of this world if the weather permits.

    The beauty of the area is that no permanent structures are allowed to be built which keeps light pollution to zero for miles on end. It’s classified as a national park on the end
